Logo Love

Being responsible for the not so small task of redesigning my company's logo has been stressful to say the least. But along with the stress comes a lot of fun. I have been spending my days scouring the internet for inspiration. After looking at so many logos that made my eyes bleed I decided to do a post on the ones that didn't. Old, new, simple and elegant. I love them all.

Earlier this year I expressed my rage at Jason Wu for Target's crazy sizing. My awesome friend took in both the skirt and the top (before picture can be seen here) and I finally had the chance to wear them. This is exactly how I pictured the outfit looking when I saw the promos. It was the perfect birthday ensemble, light, breezy and fun!

Casual Stroll

Last week I decided to have a little photo shoot during my morning walk to work. I thought this outfit was perfect for a casual Friday or stroll around the neighborhood. The bubble necklace, which I resisted for ages, adds just the right pop of color and I am I totally into mixing prints right now.

I was beyond ecstatic to find this dress during my recent J.Crew binge. I had been coveting it for months. And just the next day I was able to score this amazing necklace on hautelook for a fraction of it's original price. It was a lucky 24 hours for me.

I love bright color and beautiful lace overlay (tried to capture detail in photo 2) of this dress. And it has pockets! I think the lovely blue stones in this necklace are a perfect compliment to the yellow.

Anchors Aweigh!

As mentioned before, I'm really digging anchors right now. Call it what you want; romper, playsuit, or jumper, I'll call it adorable!

I have a serious love-hate relationship with Asos, but this was just so cute, I had to take a chance and try it. And surprisingly it fit perfectly, something that has never happened with Asos before. I love the print and style and the yellow trim adds just the right amount of pop. I will mention one negative, the back. Although I love the bow, tightening the straps and tying it up is really a two person job. I couldn't manage on my own even with my crazy long arms!

That's a Wrap

You know you have a problem when you are constantly finding things in the back of your closet that you haven't worn in ages. Such is the case with this navy wrap dress. I totally forgot I even had it, but since rediscovering it, I have realized that it is extremely versatile. 

And speaking of versatility, I wanted to talk a little about my new work bag. The color is amazing and goes with pretty much everything. The bag has three straps and can be worn as a cross-body, a fold-over tote and, when it's really full, a regular tote! And it fits a ton without looking too bulky. I have been accused many a times of carrying my life around with me. With this bag I can still do that without looking like I am.
